* This unit emits a laser beam, which, projects a visible Red spot on the target.
* Do not stare into laser    beam or near your eyes or the eyes of others.

Notes

When measuring between 40’ to 50’ / 12m to 15m, the relative humidity should be above 50% and target    area at least 10ft. X 10ft. (3m x 3m)
Inaccurate measurement may result from the following :
   1) When the battery runs out.
   2) When the measured distance is out of the specified range (1’8” to 50’/0.5 to 15m).
   3) Interference of another ultrasonic source when nearby.
   4) When the unit is not held straight and perpendicular to the target.
   5) Long narrow corridor.
   6) Irregular objects near the target.
   7) The reflected ultrasonic pulse from the target is narrow.

An error message “Err” will be displayed on screen under following conditions :
  1) When the measured distance or calculation result exceeded the specified range.
  2) When the unit is held wide angle to the target.
  3) The target surface does not provide good reflection for ultrsonic pulse. (I.e. Soft and irregular surface        such as thick carpet, curtain or irregular wall paper, walls etc.
This instrument should be used in minimum electrostatic environment.
